Glam + Casual New Years Eve Outfit

I love love love having a reason or occasion to wear sequins – however, sometimes they can be tricky. For example, I loved this sequin dress but since John’s schedule doesn’t allow for us to go to many NYE parties & such, I had to find a way to “dress it down”. I decided to throw on a nordic/fair isle sweater to warm it up as well as make it a bit more casual. Also, adding the scarf just gave it a more wintry, cozy vibe! 🙂

My friend Elle stayed the night w/us last night which was so fun! We’ve been friends for so long & every year for 8 years we get together during Christmas break and take cheesy photos in PJs by the Christmas tree! This morning we are headed to Arkansas for my LAST Accutane appointment! (Insert the party hat emoji here.) It’s been an tough & rough few months but my skin is completely different so that is really nice!

  4. So cute! I love all of your outfits! I was on Accutane and it was the best! After I had my twins, I was getting hard pimples under the skin on my chin again! My dermatologist said that after you give birth, your hormones can reset itself. I was so disappointed. He put me on new medication which worked but now I'm pregnant again and I can't wait to go back to the dermatologist so I can have clear skin again.
